Throughout the journey of growing up, a "partner" has always been by my side. It gives me confidence when I fail, courage when I am discouraged, and comfort when I am sad. That partner is the phrase: "Persistence is victory."
Once, I was practicing riding a bicycle in the open space of my residential area. At first, my father held the handlebars, but whenever I saw him let go, I would feel scared. Because I couldn't maintain balance well, the bike would wobble from side to side and tilt to one side. After practicing for a while, I was able to ride for dozens of meters. Once, while riding around a flowerbed, I accidentally fell, leaving a wound on my left calf larger than the palm of my hand. I burst into tears, but my father said gently, "Don't cry, child. Persistence is victory. If you keep practicing, you will eventually learn how to ride without falling." I slowly got up and sat on the bike again. Even though I fell once more, the thought of "Persistence is victory" flashed in my mind, and I decided to keep trying.
An hour later, I was finally able to ride steadily without falling. It is true that as long as we persist in everything we do without giving up or stopping, we will eventually achieve success.
