There is a well-known song: "Unity is strength, unity is strength, this strength is iron, this strength is steel; harder than iron, stronger than steel..."
The importance of unity is undeniable. "When people are united, even Mount Tai can be moved" is unity; "working together like a single rope" is unity; "working with one heart" is unity; and "sharing a common purpose" is also unity.
The power of unity is limitless. Any group that stays united can achieve anything; conversely, without unity, little can be accomplished. Unity itself is not the challenge; the real challenge is how to foster it, which is a critical question for every leader to consider.
"One hand cannot clap, but many hands can lift a heavy load." "To make a train run fast, a locomotive is needed." While unity is a collective effort, the method of bringing people together is deeply connected to the leadership at the helm.
