Prosperity often leaves us idle and unaware of our own strength, whereas obstacles awaken and mobilize that power. Some people live without goals, drifting through life like grass in a river, not moving forward but merely floating with the current. Many people set goals but fail to follow through. If they cannot achieve them within a set timeframe, they simply give up. When I set a goal, I ensure I follow through on my word. Most people want to change the world, but few are willing to change themselves. Why do others stop valuing you? Because you are too accommodating. If you agree to everything and accept everything given, you lose your preciousness. In life, besides saying "yes," one must also learn to say "no." While interpersonal charm is important, human value is often demonstrated through the ability to refuse. Refusal can make you more precious. Life is like a journey; it is not about finding a destination, but about experiencing the scenery along the way. After enduring the wind and rain, as long as you can keep moving forward, that is life. Life is a fleeting moment, half forgetting and half joy. Through all these years, nothing else matters but the connections we make. Life is like a tree; one must know how to irrigate oneself to grow. As the saying goes, "Relying on heaven or earth is not as good as relying on oneself." Indeed, one must depend on oneself. This doesn't mean we don't need help or won't help others; it simply means friends cannot always be by our side, and parents cannot always be our harbor. "Defects" can lead to psychological issues. As the saying goes, "A child is perfect in one's own eyes, but one sees the flaws in others clearly and tends to magnify them."
