Focusing on Major, Comprehensive Development, and Active Participation in Extracurricular Activities
As a student majoring in the Internet of Things (IoT), I am deeply aware of the importance of practical skills. While dedicating myself to professional studies, I also actively engage in various extracurricular activities, once achieving first place in the campus hoop-rolling competition. This summer, I participated in social practice by working as a sales intern in a jewelry store. This experience of working while studying allowed me to experience the hardships of life and strengthened my determination to achieve success through diligent study.
Alongside my academic pursuits, I strive for well-rounded development in morals, intelligence, physical health, and aesthetics. By participating in college sports meets and other extracurricular activities, I have enriched my experiences and improved myself. These experiences have taught me the value of friendship and the joy of sports, driving me toward my goal of becoming an outstanding college student with exceptional comprehensive qualities and professional skills.
Financial Hardship and Unyielding Resilience
I come from a remote rural family where my parents work as farmers. Our family of four relies on agricultural income. As my parents age, and with my father suffering from pulmonary heart disease, the annual medical expenses have become a heavy burden. Additionally, the costs of my higher education have made our financial situation very difficult. However, my rural upbringing has instilled in me a spirit of hard work and resilience. Upon enrollment, I applied for national student loans and took on various part-time jobs, such as tutoring, during holidays to alleviate my family's financial burden. I have never felt inferior due to our economic situation; I always tell myself that while I cannot choose my origin, I can shape my own destiny. This strong will and refusal to give up have been incredibly beneficial to my growth.
"The road ahead is long, but I will seek it from high and low." In the future, I will meet even greater challenges with absolute confidence and relentless effort, using my hard work to create a brighter tomorrow!
