When you grip something too tightly, you are limited to only that thing; however, if you are willing to let go, you create the opportunity to choose something else. Sometimes, holding someone too tightly makes it easier to lose them. It is better to relax; by simply opening your arms, they will dance freely before you and offer a smile. If a person clings stubbornly to their existing ideas and refuses to let go, their wisdom will reach a plateau, making it impossible to achieve a breakthrough or spiritual evolution.
Pursuit is a driving force that stimulates inner potential and inspires progress. Human aspiration is infinite and constantly evolving. Pursuit is also a form of joy: where there is pursuit, there must be cultivation; where there is cultivation, there will be harvest; and harvest brings joy. Through constant pursuit and diligent effort, one gains rewards and happiness, eventually becoming oblivious to the passing of time.
On the battlefield of life, do not merely feel that you have fought with all your might, nor should you complain about harsh environments. Instead, ask yourself: is your opponent working even harder? Is the environment others face even more challenging?
The things we can truly control in a lifetime are quite small, so we should dedicate ourselves to contributing to something greater and more meaningful.
