We should possess the courage to face setbacks in life. Take Edison as an example: when his laboratory was destroyed by an explosion, he did not lose heart. Instead, with remarkable resilience, he successfully invented the phonograph in just three weeks. Similarly, for a musician like Beethoven, losing his hearing was undoubtedly a devastating blow. Yet, he did not flinch; he famously declared, "I want to seize fate by the throat," and in doing so, he composed the world-renowned "Symphony No. 5, " known as the "Fate" symphony.
The journey of life is often filled with storms and thorns. Only through continuous struggle and perseverance can we eventually receive the flowers and applause we deserve. As the saying goes: setbacks are an abyss for the incompetent, but for those who dare to face them, they are stepping stones to success.
As the first ray of morning sunlight shines into the room, I open my books once more, filled with strength. I smile and say to my setbacks, "I challenge you!" for life becomes more wonderful because of these challenges. It is the experience of tasting frustration during sleepless nights that has shaped who I am today. I thank the setbacks and the trials that have strengthened me!
