Everyone has their own life journey. While I may lack profound knowledge and a repertoire of sophisticated vocabulary, I aim to express my true inner world through simple and honest words. Over the past two years, I have experienced many events and gained a deeper understanding of people. The journey has been full of deep reflections. Life is riddled with obstacles, and no one can expect to sail through everything smoothly. If one makes wrong choices due to momentary indulgence, they will eventually realize that they have wasted their youth and life.
People often ask me what kind of person I want to be when I grow up. It is a good question. Through my experiences over the last two years, I believe I now understand who I should strive to be. If asked today what I want to do in the future, I would answer without hesitation: I want to be a person who contributes to society, who is filial to my parents, and who dares to take responsibility for my actions.
Some things in life cannot be forced. We should cherish what we have and let go of what has been lost. Life is actually colorful and diverse. In the face of difficulties, we must choose strength; when problems arise, we should learn to solve them independently. Whether in pain or happiness, each day lasts twenty-four hours. Instead of frowning every day, it is better to live each day joyfully.
Looking back, were there really so many "onces"? Did there really exist so many "ifs"? The past belongs to history; what belongs to us is the future. The wheel of time turns ceaselessly. In a moment of realization, I find that I am already fourteen years old. Confucius began to study with determination at the age of fifteen. Comparing myself to him, I feel truly ashamed. In previous years, due to my ignorance and immaturity, I burdened my entire family. In fact, everyone is merely a passerby in the flow of time. Time cannot be brought back, taken away, or bought. Since the past belongs to history, we must double our efforts to cherish our future. Let the days of my past immaturity slide by like a shooting star, leaving no trace.
