A person's life should be lived in such a way that, when looking back in old age, they do not regret squandering their youth, nor do they feel ashamed of their past mediocrity. On their deathbed, they can say: My entire life and all my strength have been devoted to the most magnificent cause in the world... the struggle for human liberation.
Faced with multiple options, people often find themselves trapped by the choice; yet when there are no alternatives, the outcome often leads to success. This illustrates that while opportunity is important, the ability to maximize one's potential is even more critical. A correct choice is not about calculating immediate gains and losses, but weighing long-term pros and cons. Any choice that facilitates one's development and expression is correct, even if the temporary loss exceeds the gain. Those who focus solely on short-term interests rarely achieve great accomplishments.
The environment does not change; the solution lies in changing oneself.
Be mentally flexible and work with higher efficiency. One should cultivate the mindset of "pause the action, reflect with the mind, and continue in practice." The process of being and doing is the same: those who fail to infer more from less can only stay in place; only with heightened insight can one work efficiently.
If there are things you intend to do "later," please do them now.
The three most precious emotions in life are love, family affection, and friendship.
Many people are skilled in attacking others. They apply pressure bit by bit; sometimes, even an unrelated remark can drastically alter others' impression of the victim, while the victim feels as if they have only been lightly scratched. However, those who enjoy stirring up trouble, sowing discord, and badmouthing others may wound people temporarily, but they will ultimately suffer the consequences. As the saying goes, "fire cannot be wrapped in paper for long"; if you want to keep your actions secret, don't do them in the first place. Bad words about others will eventually reach their ears, inevitably leading to resentment and retaliation. People are susceptible to slanderous attacks because they cannot resist the temptation of such rumors and fail to accurately distinguish between good and evil.
