Today, I'd like to share two short stories from the workplace.

The girl who currently lives with me graduated in the same year as I did and became a colleague shortly after we stepped out of school. She prefers stable jobs, and after working together for about half a year, she started secretly looking for her next employer. Without any background or connections, she navigated through five stages of selection and six levels of competition to finally be hired by the customer service department of China Guangfa Bank Credit Card.

The girl worked as a customer service representative at CGB Credit Card for about two years. During this period, her salary was not high, and her work schedule was unstable, requiring shifts during the day, at night, and even overnight. Although she had eight days off per month, it was nearly impossible for her to get two consecutive days of rest.

Now, she has moved to a behind-the-scenes administrative role. Her working hours have finally returned to a standard 9-to-5 schedule, and she enjoys regular weekends off. However, she rarely leaves work on time during weekdays and occasionally has to come back to the office on weekends.

Every morning, before I have even woken up, she is already out the door; every evening, by the time I get home and cook dinner, she is just returning with a body weighed down by fatigue. In contrast to my routine, she often expresses feelings of envy, jealousy, and even resentment toward me.
