Always treat those who love you with respect. Love has its reasons, so do not ask why. Instead of questioning, accept it and reciprocate with double the care and affection. Never deceive others' feelings, even if you do not love them back or if they have flaws. Such emotion is a precious wealth that cannot be bought with money. Remember: to look down on the feelings others put in is to look down on yourself. Playing with emotions leads to the loss of ambition and virtue. Love is a virtue.
Do not instruct others on how to do things; instead, tell them what needs to be done. Their ingenuity will often surprise you.
Move forward courageously. Do not worry about the past, nor be overly proud of past achievements.
Not everyone is good. While you should never harbor intentions to harm others, you must always be cautious and defensive against potential harm from others.

People often escape their problems with family, city, society, or themselves by retreating to the mountains to seek inner peace. If one is seeking peace within the 'mind,' how can it possibly be found outside of it?
