Stepping through the gates of Xinyu No.1 High School, a wave of nervousness washed over me. My junior high years were bidding farewell, while high school reached out to welcome me. I couldn't help but reflect on how pleasant and perfect my junior high life had been. Images of my older siblings during their high school days kept coming to mind; their experience was both demanding and fulfilling.
Now, I have officially become a high school student. I hadn't expected high school to be so exhausting and intense. I was assigned to Class 1, Grade 10, which is the top-tier class in our grade. I initially assumed that such an elite class would be filled with a tense and studious atmosphere, but upon arriving, I found that this wasn't immediately apparent.
The atmosphere in the class wasn't as vibrant as I had anticipated; there was often some noise during lessons. On top of that, sitting in the last row meant I couldn't see the board clearly or hear the teacher well...
Although I sometimes can't resist asking classmates questions during class, and my grades aren't excellent yet, I promise to study hard and give it my all...
It has been several days since the military training ended. In those brief three days, I learned patience and concentration. While the period was short, it left me feeling exhausted and irritable. This sensation is similar to the learning process itself, where occasional boredom can cause one's mind to wander, like flying on an airplane.
Gradually, I am beginning to adapt to high school life, though full assimilation will take more time. I will strive to adjust to this new environment and work hard to gain admission to my dream university!
