Another week has passed, and I have noticed a significant improvement in class discipline; it is no longer as noisy as before. Meanwhile, the curriculum for all subjects has officially entered its core phase, and the pace of learning has gradually accelerated.
This week, I encountered some difficulties in mathematics. While I understood certain concepts, I found myself struggling to apply them to specific problems. Fortunately, after discussing the issues with Nie Zhaowen, the class monitor, and Qiu Songfa, we were able to clarify our misunderstandings and fill in the gaps in our knowledge.
During this initial period of high school, I have felt an unprecedented sense of ease. Looking back at middle school, the first thing I did upon returning home was to complete homework, often feeling exhausted and frustrated, sometimes rushing to finish it just to get it done. In high school, the situation is quite different. The daily workload is relatively manageable; I no longer need to spend excessive hours on assignments. I can simply review my books briefly before going to sleep, which makes me feel quite relieved.
Although there is less written homework in high school, I have not become complacent. Every evening, I use my self-study period to reinforce the key points taught by my teachers. When I encounter difficult areas, I first consult my textbooks, then ask my classmates for help. If I am still confused, I approach my teachers after class for clarification.
I hope that the rest of my high school journey will remain this pleasant and relaxed, allowing me to grow through self-discipline and efficiency.
