Under a shy sky veiled by clouds, I take light steps as I just step into the vast ocean of the internet. With an unpolished pen, I fumble with unfamiliar characters, simply writing down my own words or moods. Having always preferred tranquility, I have been wandering in my own world, knowing my own joys, sorrows, warmth, and cold.
Many times, people start a new job or learn a new skill, only to give up in disappointment before any results appear. However, the most promising successes are not always those with outstanding talent, but rather those who are best at seizing every opportunity to explore and develop.
I have always believed that the most unencumbered travel is one without a destination or a return date. Following one's heart, one might call it a 'solo elopement.' Just keep walking, traveling across mountains and rivers; perhaps that is the true meaning of travel. As Emerson said: 'There are three kinds of people who are never satisfied: one is the rich, who always dreams of earning more; one is the sick, who always expects some change; and the other is the traveler, who always says, "Anywhere but here."'
Habitual thinking often leads us to learn lessons from mistakes and failures and make changes. This may be correct, but not necessarily the best approach. For us, what matters most is not the path, but the goal. If we value short-term goals, being short-sighted may be considered clever; but if we pursue grand goals, setbacks and failures are obstacles that must be overcome. Therefore, those who turn back when hitting a brick wall are us, while those who do not turn back, or even break through the wall to go out, are people like Steve Jobs.
Great men are great because, when faced with adversity alongside others, while others lose confidence, they resolve to achieve their goals.
