Live each day with awareness, refusing to drift through life like a dreamer. Life is meant to be experienced, not merely drifted through day by day in aimless leisure.
The path of life is often bumpy and tortuous. However, no matter how winding life may be, time always moves in a straight line and is fair to everyone.
Only the weak tend to evoke pity, while the strong, even when beset by misfortune, command respect because they understand self-esteem, self-reliance, and self-strengthening.
Integrity is gold. Gaining the trust of others stems from having made commitments. Keeping one's word is a respect for oneself and an affirmation of one's character.
Acting within one's capabilities is a wise choice. Everyone has their weaknesses; if one irrationally forces their own defects to clash with others' strengths, it is tantamount to self-destruction.
Life values the process over the outcome.
Life is like a dumpling; time is the wrapper, and experience is the filling. If one lacks experience but pretends to be mature, the truth will eventually show. Experience itself is a treasure.
As long as we are good at helping others and understand the value of giving and dedication, we will surely win the sincere treatment of others. When friendships multiply, feelings of loneliness and isolation fade, and unhappiness follows them away.
The victor is not condemned.
Giving up is wisdom, and imperfection is a grace. When you have six apples, do not eat them all, for then you would only enjoy six apples. If you share five of them with others, you may lose five apples on the surface, but in reality, you gain the friendship and goodwill of five other people. When others have different fruits, they will be happy to share with you. You might get an orange from one person and a pear from another. In the end, you may end up with six different kinds of fruits and the friendship of six people. Therefore, letting go is a form of wisdom.
