"Big fish eat small fish" is a common law of nature; however, scientists obtained the opposite conclusion through a unique experiment:
They divided a large fish tank into two halves with a glass partition. First, they placed a large fish in one half and did not feed it for several consecutive days to keep it hungry. Then, they placed many small fish in the other half. When the large fish saw the small fish, it swam directly toward them. However, unaware of the glass in between, it bumped into the glass and was pushed back. The second time, it used all its strength to charge at the small fish, but the result was the same. This time, it was bruised and swollen, enduring intense pain. Consequently, it gave up on the seemingly accessible food and stopped trying.
The next day, the scientists removed the glass partition. The small fish leisurely swam to the front of the large fish. At this point, the large fish no longer had the desire to eat the small fish; it simply watched them swim back and forth in front of it...
Many people also have an invisible "glass" in their minds. It prevents them from boldly expressing their views or causes them to adopt a fearful attitude like "once bitten, twice shy" when facing setbacks. To achieve success, one must continuously break this "glass" in their mind and overcome these invisible obstacles!
