How is it possible? I possess neither profound knowledge nor rich experience; moreover, I once fell into the depths of ignorance and self-pity.
The answer is simple. I will not let so-called knowledge or experience hinder my journey. The Creator has already granted me sufficient knowledge and instinct, a gift that other creatures can only envy. The value of experience is often overestimated; the elderly often speak in confusion. To be honest, experience can indeed teach us many things, but it takes far too long. By the time one gains wisdom, its value has diminished with the passage of time. Often, by the time experience is abundant, one has little life left to live.
Experience is tied to fashion; behaviors suitable for one era do not necessarily remain valid today. Only principles are enduring, and I now possess these principles. These principles, which guide me toward success, are written in these scrolls. They teach me how to avoid failure, not just to achieve success, because Success is more of a state of mind.
People define success in various ways, but failure usually has only one explanation: failure is when a person fails to reach their life goals, whatever those goals may be. In fact, the greatest divide between success and failure comes from different habits. Good habits are the key to unlocking success, while bad habits are a door open to failure.
Therefore, my first priority is to cultivate good habits and implement them wholeheartedly. In childhood, I often acted on impulse; now that I am an adult, I will replace fleeting impulses with good habits. My free will has been subdued by bad habits formed over the years, which threaten my future. My behavior is influenced by taste, emotion, prejudice, desire, love, fear, environment, and habits, with habits being the most powerful influence.
Thus, if I must be dominated by habits, let it be good habits. I must eliminate those bad habits and sow good seeds in this new field. I will cultivate good habits and practice them with my whole heart.
