Everyone has their own childhood. Regardless of where it was spent or whether it was filled with sweetness or bitterness, it remains a beautiful and precious memory. As children, we daydreamed about the future countless times, never expecting that youth would arrive quietly, as fresh and sweet as fruit candy, within the innocence of our childhood, light as the tips of our toes. Looking into the mirror, we realize our childish faces have faded; Stepping outside, we discover we have outgrown the fence that once seemed so tall. Glancing at the red scarf in the corner, just removed and still warm, we feel a touch of reluctance and sadness, but more so, a sense of pride and elevation. For replacing it will be the sparkling Young Pioneer badge on our chest, like a small sun hanging over our hearts. What are our feelings as we grow up? Is it anticipation, nervousness, or confidence?
