If you were to ask someone around you today whether they are satisfied with their current situation, I imagine most answers would be negative. To achieve success, one must exert effort. However, on many occasions, despite putting in tremendous effort, we fail to obtain the success we hope for.
There is a well-known story you have likely heard before: 'Going South by Driving North.' A man wanted to go south; he had a clear goal, good skills, and sufficient funds, yet he could never reach his destination. This was because his direction was wrong. No matter how hard he tried, he could not achieve his aim.
'Choice is greater than effort' is a simple but profound truth. If the direction is incorrect, the harder you work, the further the result will be from the goal. Different choices shape different lives. A correct choice made today, coupled with persistent effort, will lead to future brilliance. Conversely, a wrong choice made today, followed by constant blind action, will only make you deviate further off course. In fact, like the man in the story, he only needed to slightly change his direction to achieve his goal. Therefore, choice is of vital importance.
So, what constitutes a correct choice? Why not write down what you desire every day? Write down whatever you want, for it constantly reminds you of what is most needed right now, sparking a strong desire in your heart. If you review your goals daily, they will subconsciously influence you, constantly suggesting how you should act to obtain what you want. Thus, a correct choice is the belief that: what I want, I must have, and I will definitely get it. Success is actually quite simple; it lies in knowing how to make changes.
