There is no work in this world that is not arduous. Life, in essence, is a process of continuous cultivation. Why torment ourselves with a heart full of grievance, thereby hurting the passing years? In life, it is advisable to adopt a mindset that says: "Having it is a blessing; not having it is perfectly fine." With such an attitude, one can transform hardship into joy. Simply existing is a form of spiritual practice.
Life is like a river; after navigating through twists and turns, it will eventually flow calmly into the ocean at the end of the day, returning to serenity. The little details in our mundane days often bring us a sudden smile. In reality, beautiful moments always occur quietly in the soft passage of time. Everyone longs for a lifelong, unwavering love, but it must be understood that emotion is like a house: if it is built with corner-cutting, it becomes a dangerous structure; if neglected over the years, "wall cancer" (mold/damage) will mysteriously appear; poor construction leads to leaks; a strong typhoon can shatter the windows; and an earthquake can destroy it entirely.
Every year, when college entrance exam results are announced, some cry while others laugh; some face despair while others bask in glory. Those who are upset feel as if they have fallen into hell, while those who are happy believe they have reached heaven. Only those who have experienced university life truly know that even the most ordinary universities offer opportunities for hard work, while even the most prestigious schools are filled with decline and confusion. No one should cry or boast too early about who will shine after four years. Sometimes, unexpected twists and fates may offer more personal growth than simply achieving one's wishes.
