Every one of us has desires, but when these desires become excessive, life can quickly turn into a state of exhaustion.
If we can "not demand everything when eating and not scrutinize every detail when sleeping," we can live with peace of mind and genuine happiness.
There is nothing truly insurmountable, unless you keep looking back at the path you have already traveled.
The pain of life often stems from being too "clear" or overly analytical. The eyes are meant for aesthetic appreciation, yet if we get entangled with ugliness, we eventually end up only seeing it. The heart is meant to collect joy, yet if we are trapped in petty calculations, it ends up filled with pain. Life offers us much, but we do not need to be fully aware of every aspect. The ability to be happy is, in essence, the ability to make choices and the ability to filter out what is unnecessary. When a person focuses entirely on what they are doing, they tend to forget their own troubles.
Living in this world is not easy. We must endure much, and we must see through much.
