Do not let a moment of stubbornness cause you to miss the one person who could have been with you for a lifetime.
No one knows what the future holds, and we constantly strive to change our fate. As Steve Jobs once said, "You can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future." It is best not to have a too-good memory, for life is short. We should keep ourselves healthy, happy, and content, occasionally allowing ourselves to be tipsy. Life is like a road; one must create a landscape of blossoms even in desolation.
Life spans only a few decades, flowing like water. We pass through the innocent childhood, the vibrant youth, the passionate and radical adolescence, and finally enter the calm and detached middle age. Looking back at the winding, bumpy, and stormy journey we have taken, one cannot help but feel a mix of profound emotions and reflections.
Go out every day. Wonders are waiting all around.
The world is vast, and we are tiny, like dust particles in the air, barely visible. Yet, life is not insignificant. Because of life, barren dust gains vitality; because of life, the world becomes colorful. The flourishing worldly life is often like a cup of poisoned wine; we wish to avoid it, yet we often indulge in its intoxication. Fame and profit are like a nightmare, and we always wish to wake up from it.
When you miss someone, miss them wholeheartedly. Perhaps one day, you will no longer miss them so intensely. By then, you will miss the very sensation of having missed someone so deeply. Similarly, when you love someone, love them fully.
