The coming and going of people is like the clouds in the sky or duckweed in the water; they gather and scatter at different times. This union and separation seem like a mystery of heaven and earth. Most people realize how small individuals are and that fate cannot be fully controlled by oneself. Thus, they accept their destiny and follow the flow of things. "Following the flow" means not forcing things; it treats the meeting and parting of people entirely as a matter of fate. But what exactly is fate? The dictionary defines it as a natural opportunity.
Life is multifaceted and often accompanied by incompleteness and regret. We must learn to examine and contemplate things in a three-dimensional way, constantly changing our perspectives and attitudes towards things. The benevolent have no worries, the wise have no confusion, and the brave have no fear. Only by being open-minded in dealing with matters can we find inner peace, always hold a grateful heart, and regularly perform acts of kindness. If one is stubborn and unreasonable, there will be many complaints, hatred will arise from the heart, and illness will linger. In the face of life, whoever can see things clearly is the one who can live happily.
Although a human life lasts only a few decades, it is by no means a fleeting dream. As long as one pursues truth, one attains immortality. Life is not a burning candle, but a raised torch. We must burn it brightly and intensely and pass it on to the next generation.
People often say, "Humans go up, water flows down." So, let us strive to go up. Do not dwell on too many sad things; look forward at everything and believe that things will pass.
Do not need to try too hard, just keep going. If you want to have a lifelong expertise and interest, it is like running a marathon: the most important thing is to finish the race, not how fast you ran at the beginning.
If you are right, try to gently and skillfully convince the other person to agree with you; if you are wrong, admit it quickly and sincerely. This is more effective and interesting than arguing for yourself.
Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are not high above others; rather, they place themselves in the lowest position, bearing the joys and sorrows of all sentient beings. Therefore, regardless of your external status, if you wish to resonate with Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, you must lower yourself in your heart. The lower you let yourself go, the easier it is for Buddhas and Bodhisattvas to dwell in your heart.
