It is certainly valuable and praiseworthy to explore knowledge and gain perception through practice. However, refusing to accept new principles simply because one has not yet put them into practice is quite ignorant. On one hand, not all principles require personal execution; on the other hand, one should not refuse to understand principles that one is currently unable to implement. Many principles are interconnected, and understanding those that cannot be personally practiced may still provide inspiration that benefits our current actions.
Everyone is born with a good nature, but as we grow, differences in learning environments, backgrounds, interests, and habits emerge. As the saying goes, "It takes only a moment to go from good to bad, but a year to go from bad to good." Once one develops the habit of playing online games, the good habit of enjoying reading can vanish in an instant; whereas eliminating bad habits, such as smoking, often requires a long time.
