Things in this world are never perfectly perfect, so why torment ourselves? Let a faint smile dissolve the melancholy in our hearts. No matter what happens, never let your mood lose. No matter how many titles or honors one has, they remain just words on paper; no matter how much wealth one accumulates, it can be taken away. We come into this world naked and leave it empty-handed. The hardships and complexities of the journey are merely a legend. Close your eyes, and everything can be erased. We are destined to be ordinary, and eventually, no one will remember us. Life begins with the splendor of dawn and ends with the dimness of dusk. Walking through the mortal world in a daze, we leave behind reflections for future generations—some meaningful, some not—and how many people will actually cheer for your life?
How to read others through their eyes: At the first meeting, the one who looks away first often wishes to hold the upper hand; those who immediately avert their eyes when looked at often suffer from inferiority or defects; those who glance at the opposite sex and then deliberately look away usually have strong interest; those who glance sideways at you are very interested but don't want you to notice.
A good body is built through exercise, a good mind through careful thought, good habits through practice, good character through self-discipline, good skills through polishing, and good feet through walking. Words in life are magical: sometimes saying less is better than saying more, sometimes silence is better than speech, sometimes saying less is better than saying much, sometimes saying the opposite is better than stating the truth, and sometimes speaking behind one's back is better than speaking face-to-face.
Clarity of life always arrives with the first ray of brightness. People leave every day, and people return every day. Do not get bogged down in departures, nor be too joyful about returns. If it is truly the reflection of the soul, there is no distinction between coming and going; it accompanies you always. If it is truly the meaning of life, even if distant, we are together. Everything originates from the heart. To be at peace with oneself is the heart of Buddha.
