Pain makes us stronger, tears make us braver, and heartbreak makes us wiser. Therefore, be grateful for the past, for it paves the way for a better future. To live is to have the courage to first battle against oneself. There are two paths in life: one that meets the expectations of others, and one that follows your own heart. The former may garner many rounds of applause from the crowd, yet lacks your own self-affirmation; the latter may find no one to cheer for you, but you will be the one who cheers for yourself.
Do not easily give up. Life often plays jokes on us, big or small, in unexpected moments, making us truly feel that we have grown up. Everyone encounters setbacks or injustices, but instead of displaying negative emotions for others to mock or worry about, one should remain optimistic in life. Just smile; nothing is that big a deal.
If an enemy makes you angry, it means you are not yet confident in your ability to defeat him; if a friend makes you angry, it means you still value the friendship.
If you intend to do good, there is no need to pray to heaven for protection; if what you intend to do is not good, no amount of prayer will be of any use.
If one's own heart is cold and indifferent, how can one warm others?
Most of our anxieties originate from the imagination of the mind. They do not truly exist in the here and now and have no direct impact on the present moment of life. However, we often carry too many unnecessary burdens, which is why many people appear perpetually grave and hesitant in their steps.
