During this summer vacation, I read a book titled "Inspirational Stories."
Through this book, I not only broadened my knowledge but also deeply experienced the good and evil in human nature. During the reading process, I shed tears, laughed, and felt moved. Even more delightful is that the book compiles the essence of wonderful stories from around the world. It includes the life stories of famous figures from China and abroad, touching narratives, and content that helps develop intelligence and improve moral character. The characters in the stories are all outstanding figures of their time, such as Chen Jingrun, who bravely picked the pearl from the crown of mathematics; Zhang Haidi, who persisted in self-study; Guan Ning, who cut the mat to reject a friend; and James Watt, who emphasized independent thinking.
I found these stories to be vivid, interesting, and full of profound implications. They took me through the childhoods of their protagonists. Through reading, I developed my intelligence, enriched my imagination, broadened my horizons, and cultivated a healthy mindset characterized by a love for labor, resistance to evil, and a commitment to diligent learning.
I love this book because it has cultivated my good character. I like this book because it taught me the principles of being a good person. I am fond of this book because it laid a solid foundation for my life. I admire this book because it refreshed my thoughts and cultivated my spirit of sincerity, wit, and courage!
I sincerely recommend this book, "Inspirational Stories," which is rich in life philosophy, to everyone!
