On the journey of life, I have always followed the path I believe in. Whether others approve or question me, I choose to walk my own way. Although this road is filled with thorns, and I have tasted much bitterness and shed many tears, I continue to move forward with unwavering determination. Life belongs to me, so I persist in upholding what I can hold onto and walking the path I am capable of taking.
Life is like a dream, and dreams are like life. Why not live more simply? Why not live more joyfully? The riverbeds of reality, washed by the passage of time, will eventually appear quietly in the landscape of our lives.
Too many people love to climb upward but dislike looking down. They fail to realize that the waves of life can never rise in a straight line forever. After reaching the peak, it is wise to descend the mountain and then attempt to climb another steep peak.
Who can hold onto a heart until forever? Who is willing to hold someone's hand through the changes of time? We have written too many romantic stories of flowers and moons, and heard too many promises of eternal love. Yet, the scattered remnants of our past in the sands of time can no longer be picked up. Some encounters are defined by deep affection but shallow fate; some endings are marked by the song ending and people scattering. We have loved, pained, cried, and laughed. Then, we borrow a clear sky, embrace the sunlight, and remain strong. Let go of what should be let go, cherish what you have, pass through with a smile, and live in peace.
Born into an era dominated by material desires, none of us can guarantee living without any wants. However, we must not deliberately pursue them excessively, nor let desires break through the defenses of reason. Chasing dreams is often exhausting and bitter, while the expansion of desires leads to confusion. In times of success, we may become arrogant; in times of failure, we become anxious. We cannot bear to see others succeed or accept our own shortcomings. In silence, we often dwell on others' faults; in idle chat, we gossip about是非. Living in hypocrisy and existing in a dream world—how truly exhausting it is!
