Youth is like a rushing river, flowing onward and never to return.

In childhood, innocent smiles graced our faces. We held pinwheels and ran across green lawns, our parents trailing behind us, sweat beading on our foreheads without us even noticing. There were no worries then, no sorrows.

In adolescence, we walked home with friends, backpacks on our shoulders, humming the latest rock songs. When we had sorrows, friends shared the burden; when we had joy, friends shared the delight. Gradually, we matured and grew up.

In adulthood, we stepped out of university full of dreams, hoping to carve out a bright future. Bit by bit, we acquired cars and homes. We transformed from eager novices into seasoned professionals, and our homes evolved from couples' worlds into families of three. Happiness overflowed, and tranquility emerged.

Now, silver threads appear at our temples, and our bodies are not as robust as before. Having stepped back from the workplace, our children have grown up, bearing a resemblance to our younger selves. There is no regret in our hearts. The setting sun approaches, and the day ends with composure.

Farewell, youth. Looking back on the past, I am filled with deep emotion. Time passes like a white colt through a crevice; in a flash, more than half of life has gone by. Only youth is what I cherish in memory.
