Forgetting your goals means losing your direction. Life is like a boat, swaying amidst the waves; like water, where simplicity is the most beautiful; like hemp, with thousands of strands intertwined; like ingredients, containing all the flavors of life; like wine, pure yet not cloying; like bamboo, rising step by step. Essentially, life is simply about being born and then living on.
As long as you are alive, hope remains. No matter how great the difficulties, they will eventually pass, provided you believe in hope and miracles. The path to success is fraught with obstacles; if you retreat, you have already failed. Successful people never blindly accept fate. Even when misfortune strikes, they grasp the throat of destiny, refusing to yield or admit defeat.
The longer we travel the road of life, the older time seems, and the more detached people become. Yet many fail to realize that people never truly age; only their appearance does. Time allows the soul to become increasingly compelling, growing richer and deeper with every passing year.
Youth is precisely like this: ignoring advice, recklessly experimenting; enjoying comforts and enduring hardships; playing it cool and hitting walls. We struggle desperately until we are exhausted, only to find that we have traveled a great circle and returned to where we started. Nevertheless, we never regret it or complain, for without making that circle, we might never have known where the "starting point" truly is.
Life is a prism, often accompanied by imperfections and regrets. We must learn to view and analyze things in three dimensions, constantly shifting our perspectives and attitudes. The benevolent have no worries, the wise have no doubts, and the brave have no fears. Only by being open-minded can we achieve inner peace, maintain a heart of gratitude, and consistently perform acts of kindness. If one is stubborn and obstinate, sorrow and resentment will abound, and illness will linger. In the face of life, those who can let go are the ones who find true happiness.
