1. In the journey of life, we encounter all kinds of people. As we navigate the complexities of the human world, we may find ourselves incredibly small, almost unnoticed. When there is no light or sunshine, a sense of solitude is inevitable.
2. Regardless of health or illness, one should live every day with passion. As a cancer patient realized at the end of life: there is no need to fear death, for life and death are both integral parts of existence.
3. Wisdom is an indestructible garment, and knowledge is an inexhaustible power. Where weeds abound, fruit is scarce; where empty words prevail, wisdom is thin. Diligence is the twin of wisdom, while laziness is the brother of folly. Caution is the apprentice of wisdom, and truth is its model. A soul lacking wisdom is like a lifeless ghost, and a mind lacking wisdom is like a hollow radish. Emotional attachment is the foundation of wisdom, whereas greed is the source of all troubles.
4. No matter the circumstances, accumulation is always worthwhile—whether it is building a knowledge system through extensive reading or honing skills to become an expert. These accumulations give life depth. When opportunity strikes, you will be fully prepared to release your energy. Without such accumulation, even luck is merely a fleeting moment, for there is no capital to sustain it.
5. We should not be intimidated by the words of experts. When dealing with areas we know well, such as our own bodies, families, or homes, we should listen to the experts but ultimately make our own decisions. Our insights may even surpass theirs at times.
6. If the motherland is a ship on a long expedition, my pen is the oar rowing forward with strength; if life is a long musical composition, my footsteps are the leaping notes.
7. If you possess talent, you must find every possible way to demonstrate it, otherwise it is the greatest waste of your life. We must not squander our potential, for wasting potential is the ultimate waste of existence.
8. In the process of life, many come and go, and many gather and part. Things lengthen or shorten, right or wrong, sweet or bitter, tears or laughter. As time flows and years change, people leave memories, events leave imprints, and emotions leave marks. Gradually, we come to understand the patterns of coming and going, rising and falling.
9. An extraordinary life is a product of dreams. The higher the dream, the richer the life and the more remarkable the achievements. As the saying goes, "The higher the expectation, the greater the possibility of achieving it."
10. Your potential is like your own consultant: if you trust it from the beginning, it will work harder and do more for you. But if you distrust it and rely on other things, it will slowly drift away and will not return when you need it most.
11. I, too, have bitterness and hardships, but I do not speak of them. I, too, have obsessions, but I do not speak of them. I, too, have many twists and turns, but I do not speak of them. I am not playing the fool; it is not that I haven't seen, haven't thought, or don't understand—I simply choose not to speak.
12. In a quiet heart, there is always the most beautiful scenery. Despite the complexities of the world, the heart remains; despite the turbulence of life, the pursuit remains; despite the vicissitudes of time, life remains.
13. Every rose has thorns, just as every person has parts of their character that are intolerable. To care for a rose is not to strive to remove its thorns, but to learn how not to be pricked by them, and how not to let your own thorns prick others.
