1. Life is like a bus ride. Some lives are express routes, while others are slow journeys, passing through many stops and meeting many people. Some may miss the scenery or the person beside them by getting off at the wrong stop or overshooting. No one knows who will accompany them to the final destination, nor what bus they should board.
2. In this world, the person who most influences your state of mind is yourself. Only when you achieve inner peace can ordinary days become vivid, allowing you to examine yourself clearly and view gains and losses as passing clouds. Perhaps, only after traversing much prosperity and desolation can one truly become mature.
3. We should not be intimidated by so-called "experts." When it comes to domains we know intimately—such as our bodies, families, or homes—we should make our own decisions even after hearing their opinions. Our insights might be similar to theirs, or sometimes even superior.
4. No one is indispensable. Being unable to let go now does not mean you will never be able to. There is nothing you cannot give up; if you refuse to let go, it may be that they give up on you first.
5. Procedures are meant to ensure employees do the right thing, while systems are meant to prevent them from doing the wrong thing.
6. Curiosity is the key to unlocking any science.
7. Time is the best healer; only time can truly alleviate inner pain and provide comfort. I know this well: only those who seek ways to serve others are truly happy.
8. What often causes the greatest despair is not the blow of setbacks, but the death of the soul. Therefore, we should take things lightly and open our hearts; everything will gradually improve. Some things aren't about not caring, but about the realization that caring changes nothing. In life, there are no "ifs," only consequences and results.
9. Pain is unavoidable, but suffering is a choice. Life is in your hands. If you choose to live a joyful life rather than a strained one, you will find the motivation, determination, and endurance to achieve your goals. The person who appears at the wrong time might not be the right person; but at the right time, right or wrong may just be a meaningless excuse. When you are right, the timing will be right as well.
10. We all enter this world crying, perhaps because we are unwilling to suffer or because we are filled with fear. My mother once said, "Embrace hardship as joy, and loss as a blessing." Her life continues through me, and her words bring me happiness. I miss her dearly.
11. Extreme joy can lead to tears, and extreme sorrow can lead to laughter.
12. When sick, I do not want to die; when competing, I do not want to lose. Death and defeat are essentially the same thing.
