31. When it comes to pursuing what you love in life, do not let "no" be the final answer.
32. It is never too late to reclaim a happy childhood, but this second chance must be earned by yourself, not by others.
33. We are defeated far more by ourselves than by others.
34. Life has three realms, which can be described through Zen-like language: seeing mountains as mountains and water as water; seeing mountains not as mountains and water not as water; and finally, seeing mountains as mountains and water as water once again. This means that in the early stages of life, the world is pure and fresh; what the eyes see is what is perceived. If told it is a mountain, one recognizes it as a mountain; if told it is water, one recognizes it as water.
35. Memories tend to linger at the turns of life's journey, meticulously editing the bits and pieces of life—joy and sorrow, happiness and pain. Perhaps gathering these fragments and weaving them together will become an invaluable spiritual wealth. Opening the album of memory, warm scenes emerge; while sipping tea and contemplating meaning, one can ruminate on those beautiful times.
36. Meetings do not have to occur in the season of blooming prosperity. In those hurried and immature times, the essence of humanity and the color of first impressions may slowly fade within the passing years. As life's pressures mount, superficial glamour disappears, leaving the initial passion to turn into a faint melancholy.
37. Tang Monk always introduced himself: "I am Tang Sanzang, coming from the Great Tang in the East to worship the Buddha in the West." These words encompass three questions everyone must ask: Who am I? Where do I come from? And where am I going? By knowing oneself, one's origins, and one's destination, one can remain undeterred by hardships and temptations to achieve their goals.
38. When people are questioned about a mistake, their reactions often follow a pattern: first, lying to deny it; second, finding excuses to justify it; third, blaming others; fourth, remaining silent; and only fifth, admitting the error.
39. The illusion that "life is elsewhere" leads many to easily give up their jobs, romances, or friends. Sadly, it takes a long time to realize that there is no legendary "elsewhere." What you have is all you possess, and what you wander around to find is often what you missed at the very first station.
40. If only time could turn back, so I could have you. To wake up every day and see you in the sunlight would be the best future. I never wanted to be apart from you; only being with you makes every day happy. No matter how difficult life becomes, I only want to build the future we desire with you.
41. No explanations, no sorrows. The joy of life is to walk your own path and see your own scenery. Do not be boastful when surpassing others, and do not lose heart when others surpass you.
42. Restrain yourself to benefit others.
43. A truly humble person is not only humble toward others but also shows respect and humility even to a tiny insect or a single flower.
44. Death itself is neither good nor bad; it is simply a process of natural transformation. For someone who has lived a life without regret, death is nothing to fear.
45. Make life richer, more meaningful, and more valuable. Experiencing the joy of success is one of the most fundamental hopes of every human being.
