Everything is actually a gift of life; whether you like it or not, you must accept it and learn to understand its meaning. Life is a journey of running under weight, and time will eventually leave behind the people who truly belong in your life. Like stars, lightning, red apricot blossoms bursting through a wall, or leading birds, boldly reveal your true self in your own time and place. Do not beg for the cold and distant starlight to illuminate your life; instead, let the sun within your heart rise, so that you may radiate light and heat for a lifetime. When you grasp something too tightly, you can only possess that one thing; if you are willing to let go, you will have the opportunity to choose something else. Some people are held too tightly, making them easier to lose; it is better to loosen your grip, open your arms slightly, and let them dance freely before you with a smile. If a person's heart is obsessed with their own views and refuses to let go, their wisdom will reach a limit and struggle to break through or upgrade.
Life is like tea; one must face it with a calm heart. Right or wrong is a matter of karma; to recognize and let go is wisdom, while to see through it as a dream is even deeper. 不雨花犹落,无风絮自飞。应观法界性,一切惟心造. Life is short; what you give up today might not be regained tomorrow. Gains and losses are common, right and wrong are matters of freedom, gratitude and resentment are matters of a clear conscience, and warmth and coldness are known to oneself. The path of life is bumpy and the ladder of career is winding; do not take everything too seriously, and may you have good luck throughout your life! Life can be frustrating: wanting to remember but forgetting instantly, wanting to forget but leaving an impression, wanting to refuse but reluctantly agreeing; appearing sober yet feeling lost, not wanting to do something yet being forced to. One must cultivate talent through reading, purity through careful speech, character through affection, will through enduring humiliation, harmony through gentle dealing, virtue through responsibility, foundation through caring for others, integrity through indifference to fame and fortune, backbone through avoiding vulgarity, greatness through bold action, and magnanimity through tolerance.
Think positively, look forward, and move toward your goals to ensure life is not lived in vain. Life grants us sorrows but also provides answers; thus, we can find peace in letting go and transcendence in steadfastness. The difficulty of life lies in being "just right"—no one knows what happens if you take a step forward or backward, so treat "just right" as a life goal. Do not hate yourself for being unmotivated or for feeling inadequate compared to others; most people are ordinary, you just don't see their efforts. Do not be discouraged; be a snail that climbs steadily or a clumsy bird that persists in flying. Through stumbling and wounding, you will eventually stand in the brightest place, living the life you once aspired to. The key is to be down-to-earth; a true entrepreneur is a doer, not a dreamer. I advise men not to dwell too long on tears; a man cries once and moves on. In the future, you may regret the things you didn't do more than the things you did. Even when working for others, maintain the mindset of an owner. The greatest happiness is achieving your goal after repeated setbacks, while the greatest trouble is not knowing where you went wrong.
Desire is human nature, but if it turns into endless greed, we become slaves to our impulses, exhausting our lives for power and wealth. Therefore, in life, one should: avoid subjective delusion by seeing the true nature of things; avoid fixed expectations by accepting impermanence and relaxing; avoid rigidity by leaving room for maneuver; and avoid ego by dealing with things and people as they are. Desire is like a tumor on the soul that blocks happiness. One should learn to satisfy needs and suppress excessive desires to find joy. When facing loss or people leaving, learn to let go. Life is for completion, not comparison. Practice empathy to understand others, which makes life more beautiful. Noble goals lead to excellence, while a life without goals is destined for mediocrity. By pursuing great goals, you will be refined through the process and eventually become outstanding.
