Do not easily promise things you are not confident you can accomplish. Words should be trustworthy, and actions should bring results. If you fail to fulfill a promise, you will find yourself in an awkward position where neither helping nor not helping feels right.
When doing something wrong, people often look around to avoid being seen. However, whether others see it is secondary; what truly matters is that your own heart witnesses it, and you cannot escape your conscience.
Think about it: how do you feel when you are angry? Not very good. So why carry hatred with you? Hatred brings no benefit to yourself or others. It is a burden too heavy to carry, no matter how short or long the journey.
Reflect often on your own mistakes and avoid speaking ill of others.
