Regarding the relationship between possession and longing, one should not dwell on things that were never truly possessed, as there would be no attachment without possession. However, once something has been genuinely owned, how can one simply forget and stop thinking about it?
When you feel unhappy, look out the window. The world is vast, the scenery is beautiful, opportunities are abundant, and life is short. Do not confine yourself within a small patch of shadow. Remind yourself often to focus on what you have rather than what you lack. Take things more lightly and understand yourself; do not rush when facing problems, just do your best in the present moment. If you are in a low point in life, move forward bravely, because no matter how you move, you are still going upward.
If there is no happiness within the heart, even traveling across the world will not lead to true peace; but when the heart is content and joyful, even in difficult circumstances, one can still remain calm and at ease.
A simple heart leads to a simple life, while a complicated heart brings more suffering.
Can freedom truly be pursued? In the process of pursuing freedom, is that state still considered freedom? Can a wrong process lead to a correct result? These are questions worth continuous reflection.
