Everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses; those who look down on others will eventually be looked down upon themselves. Interactions between people should be grounded in tolerance and mutual encouragement.
No matter how large your house is, you can only live in one room and sleep in one bed; no matter how many delicacies are spread on the table, you can only eat one full meal; no matter how many pairs of shoes you own, you can only wear one at a time; no matter how many luxury clothes fill your wardrobe, you can only wear one outfit; and no matter how many cars you have, you can only drive one at a time. Everyone has the right to choose their own lifestyle, which is perfectly natural. However, if your desire for wealth expands without limit and affects your health, love, marriage, family, and happiness, you will spend your days rushing about in anxiety, unable to eat or sleep, plagued by endless worries. If this desire turns into insatiable greed, it will destroy your life.
We are all members of the masses, each with our own strengths and weaknesses, all hoping to be recognized by others. Consequently, we strive incessantly, constantly worrying about the gaze of others. Yet, we forget that we live for ourselves, not for the eyes or evaluations of others. To achieve a broader stage in life and play a more spirited melody, one must learn to live modestly. In many instances, even when no one is watching, there is no need to overvalue ourselves.
