Compensation, whether internal or external, is always relative and endless; the treatment of competitors is also dynamic and unpredictable. Career—is it tied to one specific place? A career is a dynamic journey; one can build a career elsewhere, and other platforms may be more enticing. A company's mission is the owner's mission, not necessarily the employees'.
