Distance is terrifying because you never know whether the other person misses you or has forgotten you. Perhaps the most comforting thing in life is to reunite with the self you once lost. Everyone is a passerby: I am a passerby in your life, you are a passerby in mine, and we are all passersby of time. When you look back, that person has already vanished into the vast crowd, so we have every reason to cherish those around us.

Learn to be tolerant to keep life free of troubles. In the chessboard of life, there are gains and losses, advances and retreats. However, regardless of success or failure, as long as every step you take is earnest, careful, and meaningful, you are the winner. You never need to worry about others' opinions, for life belongs to you.

Life is full of twists and turns, which is itself an elegant and noble endeavor.

We often commit ourselves unconditionally to someone in the present, yet find it difficult to devote ourselves to an uncertain future or a dream.
