Behind every strenuous effort, there is a double reward.
All limitations begin within the mind.
"A gentleman pursues wealth but follows the right way." This applies to individuals as much as to organizations. Otherwise, what is gained is ill-gotten wealth, which is not only unsustainable but can also cause long-term harm.
In truth, it is human nature to desire a happy and prosperous life. However, if this desire turns into insatiable greed, we inadvertently become slaves to our own impulses. Driven by desire, we struggle tirelessly for power, status, and wealth, yet we often feel unfulfilled because we constantly compare ourselves to those who seem more affluent or powerful. In this relentless pursuit, we find ourselves exhausted, spending our energy and life in vain.
The more desires we have, the more suffering we endure. As the saying goes, "a snake trying to swallow an elephant" describes greed that exceeds one's capacity. If one tries to grasp everything, one may end up with nothing, trapped in a life of constant busyness and intrigue. Such a way of living is truly exhausting.
