The essence of living with acceptance lies in understanding that everything in this world is in constant flux, shaped by the impermanence of cause and condition. Love, hate, fortune, and adversity are transient and cannot be held onto. Joy and suffering arise from various conditions; rather than being swayed by extreme emotions over the outcome, it is better to mindfully discern right from wrong in our actions beforehand. To live with acceptance is to strive with all our heart while remaining detached from gains and losses.
The dawn does not break simply because a rooster crows. Do not spread sorrow to others, and do not carry your worries to bed. Stop blaming your circumstances or others for your misfortunes. Whether you inhabit a world filled with love and gratitude or one brimming with dissatisfaction and illness depends entirely on your mindset.
Life is full of ebbs and flows. If you do not celebrate when water vapor rises, why grieve when it rains? We often say we will find a "chance" to meet old friends, wait for the "right time" to hug our children, or tell ourselves "not now" when we want to express admiration to a friend. In reality, every morning when we open our eyes, we should tell ourselves that this is a "special day." Every moment is precious; "someday" or "in the future" should not be an excuse to delay living.
