Intelligence is more important than knowledge, character is more important than intelligence, awareness is more important than character, mindset is more important than ability, planning is more important than execution, action is more important than promises, choice is more important than effort, creativity is more important than proof, direction is more important than speed, wisdom is more important than hardship, learning is more important than academic credentials, and opportunity is more important than connections. No matter how much wealth you accumulate, life is most important! Friends, please cherish and respect life.

Money cannot buy time, but time can be used to acquire money.

If you have food, clothing, and shelter, you are already wealthier than 75% of the world's population. If you have savings, cash, and pocket money, you are among the wealthiest 8%. If you wake up healthy and without ailment, you are much happier than the millions who may not survive the week. If you have never experienced war, imprisonment, torture, or famine, you are much more fortunate than the 500 million people currently facing them.

Most of us fall short because we want to achieve greatness instantly. In reality, everything is a gradual process; through continuous self-improvement, we can eventually make an impact in our practical work.

Humility requires a foundation of capability; without ability, there is no basis for true modesty. Arrogance, however, stems from narrow-mindedness—like a frog in a well, unaware that there is more to the world than what it sees.

The storms of life serve as a crucible for the soul.
