Where the wind passes, white petals fall like snow, swirling in a quiet indifference. The mist is cool, the lotus is yet to wake, and the shimmering light remains still and ripple-less. Distant shadows loom, mountains rise and fall like shifting thoughts, and the lush trees bear flowers but no fruit. Suddenly, a butterfly flutters by, its colorful wings already mottled. Amidst the blooming temple bells, in the reflections of this shore yet to be crossed, besides my faded countenance, I see once again the obsessions I have never let go.
Women should understand this: one hour of anger is as damaging as working six hours of overtime. Psychologists warn that anger is a form of self-inflicted torture; Negative emotions consume excessive mental and physical energy, lowering immunity and increasing the risk of serious illness. Therefore, do not let anger consume you.
I believe that hardships are not permanent stumbling blocks. They may have been obstacles once, but from the moment I fall, I choose to transform them into stepping stones. Everything has two sides; if something once blocked my path, I will now change its nature. Hardships can serve as reminders, guides, motivators, and encouragements. As long as you do not give up the determination to change them, they will eventually be transformed into the power for growth. If you believe, then try.
Your mindset determines the quality of your life. If our minds are filled with resentment, we live in hell; if our hearts are kind and beautiful, we live in heaven; if we are free from greed and attachment, we live as Arhats; if we embrace compassion and emptiness, we live as Bodhisattvas; and if our minds reach ultimate perfection, we live as Buddhas.
