A mediocre life is also a state of being. Every day that arrives may seem ordinary, while responsibilities, busyness, and trivial matters fill our hearts and lives.
Being unable to maintain what should be maintained is helplessness; insisting on what should not be maintained is incompetence. Failing to hold on to what should be protected is ignorance; refusing to let go of what should be abandoned is stubbornness.
If someone enters a certain industry purely for survival, they must carefully consider whether this field is truly suitable for their long-term development, whether they have the determination to persist, and whether they have the confidence to gradually develop an interest in it. If they have no interest in the industry and are unwilling to invest time and effort in cultivating that interest, it will be difficult for them to achieve good results in that field.
Since two people have chosen to love each other sincerely from now on, why should they care so much about each other's past? The more one reveals, the more pain it may bring to the other person. From another perspective, is someone who constantly tries to uncover their partner's past truly someone who knows how to cherish the relationship? Many people speak so-called truths without considering the situation or the person they are speaking to, and eventually end up with regrettable consequences.
Those who flatter each other are people in official positions; those who look down on each other are people engaged in art; those who do not speak honestly when meeting are people in business.
In life, people need to speak three kinds of words. The first kind is public speech, which contains both truth and falsehood. It can be spoken openly in front of others, and if someone becomes well-known, it may even appear on television or in newspapers. The second kind is private speech, which also contains both truth and falsehood, including many words spoken out of anger or emotion that simply pass with time. The third kind is words from the heart. Some of these thoughts may remain hidden deep inside and may never be spoken throughout a lifetime.
Respect, appreciation, and tolerance are the three steps to getting along with others.
Life is like a pencil that is constantly being used. It starts out sharp, but gradually becomes smoother and more rounded over time. However, when it becomes too smooth, it may be time to sharpen it again.
