Wisdom is a skill, while insight is a state of being. Wisdom builds and takes through addition, whereas insight deconstructs and lets go through subtraction. When it is time to let go, do not force a grip; when it is time to take up, do not let go easily. The former determines the ease of your life, while the latter determines how far you can go.
Some people are etched forever in our memories—even if we forget their voice, their smile, or their face, the feeling we experience whenever we remember them remains unchanged. We say with a smile that we remain in the same place in time, but in reality, everything has already been silently swept away by the torrent of time.
