For some reason, as I grow older, I feel the world seems increasingly illusory. Only our emotions are real. When we die, we take nothing with us; all that remains is the memory surviving within our hearts. Only emotions walk with us. Yet, in this deceptive world, emotions constantly collide with reality, eventually causing wounds as hollow as the world itself. I have come to realize that where we go or how we live matters less; what matters is having authentic emotions. If one gains the whole world but lacks love and is left alone, how can they truly live? I do not wish to die in loneliness.
Love makes us harbor too many expectations: the longing for longevity, the hope for eternal union, and the desire for possession and fulfillment.
Emotion is the hardest substance to bring warmth, for it is formless and fleeting, making it difficult to trust or rely upon.
