Secular conventions and traditional habits often lead people to seek approval and validation from others in their speech and actions. However, only by correctly understanding oneself can one keep the ship of life on course, accurately identifying one's fighting goals. Establishing correct life objectives, maintaining self-confidence, and striving for them throughout one's life are the keys to achieving success. The 'Mental Menu Card' consists of three essential parts. The first is a brief description of your fundamental current goals that are highly significant to you. The second involves noting down five qualities you are cultivating; possessing these will enable you to become the person you aspire to be. The third part lists specific actions or behaviors to take daily. By overcoming inertia through these actions, you not only aim for goals but also form a detailed action plan to develop your desired qualities. Sometimes, happiness is merely a choice. If you treat happiness as the most important aspect of life and let it drive your actions, you will be happier and enjoy the process of reaching your goals more. Do not waste time agonizing over whether you are happy; instead, reflect carefully on what brings you joy. Once you make this decision, start acting—do the things that make you feel happy. It may feel difficult at first, but once it becomes a habit, happiness will come naturally. Gradually, you will realize that romance is not necessarily based on true feelings; it may often involve interests or a sense of competition. Convincing yourself is a victory of reason; moving yourself is an elevation of the soul; conquering yourself is a sign of maturity in life; surpassing yourself is a sign of developmental growth; and liberating yourself is the release from internal conflict.
