Live a life of contentment with an attitude of indifference. Perhaps many people cannot achieve this, believing it implies a lack of responsibility. In reality, life is simple. There is no need for excessive impetuousness or greed; being at peace with whatever comes is actually quite good. Every day is the best day of the year, and one today is worth two tomorrows. There is no desperate situation in this world, only people who are desperate about their situations.
Each person navigates through the vast ocean of humanity. If we learn to reflect on life, we will find a sense of clarity. Many truths may seem small, but they are practical, living truths. Any stubbornness can evolve into a pathological existence. It is difficult for anyone to give a definitive answer to how much one needs in life to be satisfied. Clearly recognizing life and understanding that we are all merely passersby means that life requires more honesty and responsibility.
The shortest distance between two points is not necessarily a straight line. In interpersonal relationships and in the process of doing things, it is often difficult to achieve results directly and straightforwardly. Sometimes we encounter many difficulties and obstacles. It is not always necessary to push through head-on; we can choose to go around difficulties and bypass obstacles. Perhaps doing so will make things go more smoothly.
Some people appear unexpectedly, giving you a surprise. You may have once believed they were a god in your life, capable of quenching your spiritual thirst. But you were wrong; some people are destined to be just fleeting passersby in your life. Love is merely a rainbow: beautiful, but best viewed from a distance, observable only briefly, and fleeting. In a moment, it vanishes. You search and search, but it never reappears.
