Li Bai, a great poet of the Tang Dynasty, did not enjoy reading in his childhood. One day, taking advantage of his teacher's absence, he secretly slipped out of the house to play.

Walking to a small river at the foot of the mountain, he saw an old woman grinding an iron pestle on a stone. Curious and puzzled, Li Bai approached and asked, "Grandma, what are you grinding the iron pestle for?" The old woman replied, "I am making a needle." Li Bai asked in surprise, "Oh! The pestle is so thick, how can it be ground into a needle?" The old woman smiled and said, "As long as I keep grinding every day, the pestle will get thinner and thinner. Do I need to worry about it not becoming a needle?"

Hearing this, Li Bai reflected on his own behavior and felt ashamed. He turned around and ran back to the study room. From then on, he kept the principle that "Where there is a will, there is a way" deeply in mind. He devoted himself to reading with determination and eventually became a great poet, known as the "Poet Immortal."
