Failing to secure an order is not shameful, but not understanding why you failed to secure it is.
Three reefs in life: arrogance, conceit, and gullibility; Three prohibitions in life: lust, quarreling, and greed; Three aversions in life: lying, slandering, and snobbery; Three virtues in life: vast knowledge, the habit of thinking, and noble character.
In fact, human beings have souls. If a person loses their soul, they are left with merely an empty shell, and life becomes dull and boring. Since the 'soul' is invisible and intangible, one may lose it without even realizing it.
Fill a person's inner world with virtue to make them noble. The value of success varies, but noble character is the unchanging criterion for measuring success. Even if a person possesses immense wealth, high status, and profound knowledge, they cannot be considered truly successful without holy virtue. Young people, in this浮躁 (frivolous) era, your pursuit should not be limited to material wealth; spiritual fulfillment is what matters most.
The greater suffering of humans is not being unable to be clear, but being unable to be 'confused' (in the sense of letting go or seeing the bigger picture). Being clear requires only intelligence, but being 'confused' (wiser in perspective) requires wisdom. Living life ultimately means living with wisdom. A clear-minded person knows what they want, while a merely knowledgeable person wants everything. One may lack clarity, but must not lack lucidity. Let your heart slowly appreciate the journey, rather than struggling and withering along the way.
Some opportunities are missed due to a moment's hesitation; some fates slip away due to a moment of impulsiveness. Many relationships become distant and cold, irretrievable, simply because of a split-second decision; many expressions of gratitude are buried deep in the heart due to shame, becoming lifelong regrets. So, when you are hesitating, ask your heart: will you regret doing this in the future? Use today's efforts to ensure no regrets tomorrow.
Life is like a river. After winding through twists and turns, it eventually flows calmly into the ocean in the twilight, returning to tranquility. The little details in ordinary days always make us smile inadvertently. In fact, those beautiful moments always happen in soft, gentle times. Everyone looks forward to a love that lasts until death. However, understand that Love is like a house: if corners are cut during construction, it becomes a dangerous building; if neglected for years, it develops mold or leaks due to poor original construction; a strong typhoon might shatter the windows; or an earthquake might destroy it.
