Life bestows upon us a gift that is both immense and infinitely noble. Life is like a stage; until the curtain falls, you can never truly know how brilliant your performance can be. Smooth sailing and rough patches coexist, and joy is always accompanied by sorrow. These are all normal aspects of life. First, maintain peace of mind. Whether facing glory or disgrace, success or failure, keep your attitude steady. A person who treats both fortune and misfortune with the same equanimity is unconquerable. Second, persist. Once you have determined that your direction is correct, stick with it, for no endeavor is ever smooth from the very beginning.
Over time, we slowly realize that treating someone with sincerity does not guarantee a return on that affection, while the person you overlook might be the one who values you the most. We also come to understand that many things in life are rare and cannot be sought at will, and many experiences happen only once. Life may leave us scarred, but some wounds need time to heal, while certain deep, untouchable pains can only be saved by music and released through words.
Learn to forget. It is said that ninety percent of life is filled with disappointments. To be happy, one must reduce stress, and learning to forget is an excellent method for doing so. Life requires the strength to pick things up, but sometimes, the ability to let go is even more important. In spring there are flowers, in autumn there is the moon, in summer there is a cool breeze, and in winter there is snow. If no trivial matters hang in your mind, then every season is a wonderful time in the human world.
If you enter a profession solely for survival, you must carefully consider whether this industry is truly suitable for you. Ask yourself if you have the determination to persist and the confidence to cultivate an interest in it. If you have no interest in the field and are unwilling to spend time and effort to develop that interest, it is destined that you will not achieve good results in that profession.
